Named after our beloved Labrador Teal. Teals Den has one double bedroom, a spacious open plan kitchen/diner/lounge, which has the benefit of a sofa bed, allowing the property to accommodate a further two guests. There is a utility room with a dog’s bedroom. Dogs are welcome to ‘Teals Den’, at our discretion. This is a cosy retreat, which would be perfect for a romantic weekend, or a honeymoon! Or just, as a holiday venue.
There is plenty of parking, (two cars). Also, there is outside seating on the patio, to enjoy those balmy summer evenings.
We can also offer accommodation for horses from April through to September, (at an extra cost), should you wish to have a riding holiday in the area. Our Equine facilities are top class, we have a large outdoor Ménage, stables (American Barn Style), and superb grazing. There is no immediate road work from the farm, you are straight onto miles of Bridle paths, whereby you can explore the beautiful Dorset countryside! Please do not hesitate to contact me for further information.
Absolutely loved our holidays at the granary. Beautiful house, spotlessly clean, well kitted out and a lovely welcome basket. In the middle of no where (which we loved, great walks) but an easy drive to Dorchester or Weymouth for the beach. I hope we get to visit again.Jennie
Clean, comfortable and as described. All the equipment was in good working order. We appreciated the welcome tray , along with the wine, cakes soaps etc. The accommodation was spacious and the beds were comfortable. We loved the peaceful, quiet countryside. The Granary was perfect for a three generation holiday with ages ranging from 13 months to 77.Penny
Lovely very well equipped house with all the home comforts you could ask for including toys, games and numerous egg cups! Cake, wine, bread etc a lovely very welcoming and a memorable touch. Local pub The Thimble Inn strongly recommended for food and drinks - we visited 3 times in our week away.Anonymous

Loved our stay at the Granary. The property and the enclosed garden were ideal for our two terriers. The property owners were very friendly and helpful (the fresh eggs were delicious). The area was very peaceful - it was lovely to stand in the garden at night to watch bats flying past and hear tawny owls calling.Ms D Branch
Lovely hosts - it was a pleasure to meet with them and enjoy their wonderful property - stayed July 2017.Mr N Smith
We had a lovely stay at The Granary. The property provided us with excellent facilities to enjoy the Dorset countryside. The paddock was a real bonus for an early morning walk for the dogs and the garden was large enough and safe for them. It was also very handy to have the shower room and ensuite bathroom. I would certainly have no hesitation in returning to this property and would recommend this property to friends with dogs who are looking for a nice break - stayed June 2017.Mr P Smith
Fantastic will definitely be returning!!! Stayed May 2017.Miss S Draycott

A short break away for my wife and I. Peace, comfort and homely. Great mix of modern and ‘shabby chic’ Well facilitated holiday home and we wish you great success in your growing business. You make wonderful hosts.Julian
Had a great time, my son and I built a guitar next door at Crimson and came the short walk home each evening to a beautifully cosy Teals Den. Thanks for a great stay, and letting us extend to avoid all that snow!Wayne and Jimmy
Thank you so much for an amazing stay, our only regret is we didn’t stay longer. The cottage is perfect in every way, you’re welcome pack was much appreciated. It was ideal for us catching up with friends and family and we finally took a visit to ‘Clouds Hill’ , also had a lovely meal at ‘The Thimble’ with friends. Our bike also appreciated it’s accommodation in a secure garage. Thank you!Kim and Les, Brittany, France
